Itinerary:
Day 1: Fes to Ifrane
- Depart from Fes in the morning.
- Drive towards Ifrane, often referred to as the “Switzerland of Morocco.”
- Explore the town’s European-inspired architecture and visit Al Akhawayn University.
- Continue to Azrou, known for its cedar forests.
- Check-in to a local hotel and enjoy dinner.
Day 2: Azrou to Ifrane Cedar Forests
- Embark on a day trek through the cedar forests near Ifrane.
- Encounter Barbary macaques and other wildlife.
- Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the serene surroundings.
- Return to the hotel in Azrou for dinner and relaxation.
Day 3: Azrou to Dayet Aoua Lake
- Drive to Dayet Aoua, a beautiful seasonal lake in the Middle Atlas.
- Explore the lake’s shores and enjoy bird watching.
- Picnic lunch by the lake.
- Continue to Midelt for the night, surrounded by stunning landscapes.
Day 4: Midelt to Aguelmame Aziza
- Depart for Aguelmame Aziza, another picturesque lake in the region.
- Explore the lake area and its scenic viewpoints.
- Lunch by the lakeside.
- Return to Midelt for the evening and overnight stay.
Day 5: Midelt to Fes
- Drive back to Fes, enjoying the scenic landscapes of the Middle Atlas.
- Arrive in Fes in the afternoon.
- Farewell and drop-off at your preferred location.
